During the Nazi occupation, many of the Foresters were members of Home Army - they provided an invaluable service in uncovering secrets of Blizna proving ground. The memory of their sacrifice is kept by Mr. Zygmunt Jurasz, the Head of Tuszyma State Forests. Using his hospitality, I've took opportunity to see the growing collection of artifacts discovered at Blizna and surrounding area as well as documents related to Forester's activities during World War 2. Below's a couple of photographs of V-2 elements after preservation operations.
Some of the preserved elements.
Fragment of graphite steering.
Part from V-2 control system: Mischgerät - the first analogue computer ever.
Most of the elements are signed.
